PhD Students: Student Mentoring Guide

The School of Nursing would like to support you in developing mentoring relationships based on realistic goals and resulting in greater satisfaction with your program and role as a doctoral student. In addition to providing you with a faculty advisor and a doctoral student mentor, we urge you to utilize the Graduate School's Student Guide "How to Get the Mentoring You Want", which discusses how you can successfully identify and interact with mentors at the School.

In addition to the Student Guide, the Graduate School also provides more information on mentoring and student resources on their Mentoring Resources for Graduate Students and Faculty page. Finally, the Center for Instructional Development and Research maintains a website with a number of mentoring resources.
