  • UW Medicine HIPAA training is required for all nursing students. If you have completed this training at a UW-affiliated site (UWMC, Harborview, MultiCare, VA Puget Sound), e-mail jhixson at uw dot edu as soon as possible so a duplicate account is not created for you.

Students who have completed the training through the VA should bring confirmation of that training or sign and return the VA HIPAA Waiver Form.
