A capstone project is required for every DNP student. Typically students will begin their capstone projects after successful completion of the General Examination. Capstone projects are systematic investigations of questions about practice and therapies that evaluate and translate all forms of evidence into practice. The DNP student collaborates with an agency to address a real world clinical problem or health issue.  A wide variety of capstone projects are possible. A minimum of 12 credits of NMETH 799 is required.
