NMETH 799: Capstone Clinical Investigative Projects
Every DNP student is required to complete a capstone project. Typically you will begin your capstone projects after successful completion of the General Examination. Capstone projects are systematic investigations of questions about practice and therapies that evaluate and translate all forms of evidence into practice. You will collaborate with an agency to address a real-world clinical problem or health issue; thus a wide variety of capstone projects are possible. A minimum of 12 credits of NMETH 799 is required.

You may register for 2 credits of capstone before the quarter in which you are taking your General Examination. If you have worked out a plan with your supervisory committee to take General Examinations at the beginning of a quarter and want to take more than 2 credits of capstone that same quarter, you would need to obtain permission to do so from the Chairperson of your committee.
