All Students: Student Resources - Tutoring

The School of Nursing Learning Lab offers tutoring in nursing skills and in the provision of nursing care, both basic and advanced.

Students seeking writing assistance can take advantage of the Writing Resources page developed by Academic Services as a service to all nursing students.

BSN students may wish to take advantage of the Office of Minority Affairs' Instructional Center, a comprehensive academic support center where a staff of 16 professional instructors and between 70 and 100 student tutors, mostly third- and fourth-year UW students, offer assistance throughout the week.

Graduate nursing students who seek tutoring in nursing science or in other course work are responsible for arranging and paying for tutoring and editing services independently.

For assistance with pharmacy course work, you may wish to access an online pharmacy to support your study of medications and their usage.
