Loan repayment programs (LRP)

Loan Repayment Programs encourage health professionals to work in rural or urban medically underserved areas, or to pursue certain career options, while lessening the economic burden to the professional. LRPs can repay all or a portion of the professional's eligible health professionals student loans. LRPs usually require a signed contractual agreement stipulating length and terms of service.

It is a compilation of U.S. programs that offer financial assistance, in the form of loan repayments, for a commitment to service (generally in an area of need).
