All Students: The Basics - Email Lists for Nursing Students

Faculty, staff and students use e-mail to communicate class information, registration information, and much more. Therefore, we require you to

1. establish your UW NetID (open your University of Washington e-mail account) BEFORE starting your studies, and

2. subscribe to a group e-mail list for all students in your degree program.

Click on one of the following options for instructions on subscribing to the appropriate nursing student e-mail list.
Upon return to the University from On-Leave status, re-subscription to the appropriate student email list may be required.

3. If you would like to see messages posted to the list that you may have missed, you must access the list archives. To do so, you must first go to the main page of your listserve (replacing listserve with the name of your mailing list (bsn1yr, etc.):

    http://mailman1.u.washington.edu/mailman/listinfo/listserve/
Log in with your UW NetID and on the main page under the "About" section should be the listserve's archives, categorized by month.

We also recommend that you participate in e-mail training and set up your computer so that you can connect from home to the UW.
