Resubmission means that grant was submitted but not funded and has been rewritten for re-application.

You may not simultaneously submit fellowship grants so the second item will always be no.

Enter full project title.

If you have any punctuation in the title, do not copy it from Word or grants.gov will not be able to read the code. Type it in manually instead.

You are limited to 81 characters. You may enter in more, but the title will be truncated at 81 characters in the NIH database. The reviewers, however, will see the full title.

Item 12

Identify the most general geographical entity that has jurisdiction over the project area. For instance, if you are recruiting subjects from many areas in Washington, enter "Washington State," not all the cities. However, if you will be only recruiting in Seattle, enter "Seattle," not "Washington" or "United States."

Item 13

Enter project dates. The dates should be in whole months and should start on the first of a month and run to the last day of the final month. This date is just an approximation. When you are funded, you will be able to pick a start date that is more conveniant.

August 8th	April 1st of the next year
December 8th	July 1st of the next year

All should be written in the format of "ST-###." (2 letter state abbreviation with number. If the number is less than three digits, add 0's to the front.)

Item 15

Enter in your name as it is entered in your ERA Commons account.

The address information will default to the OSP information that was entered above. Change the information so that it matches your personal address. NIH will want to check with you after your funding period so please use the most permanent address possible.
