Long Description: Loglinear Analysis of tables of cross-classified behavioral codes such as as naturally generated by hypotheses of serial- and cross- contigency in sequential data collection and analysis. ILOG Discovery Preview is an experimental visualization tool for analyzing data sets intuitively and communicating findings within an enterprise information system. It also serves as an interactive tool for browsing and editing databases, using a direct manipulation paradigm instead of a form-based query system. Despite its being fully functional, ILOG Discovery is a concept software, not meant to be commercialized ; its goal is to proof new technologies before their introduction in the ILOG JViews product line.http://www2.ilog.com/preview/Discovery/
Availability
Two copies on workstations in T658-B, currently dis-enabled. Practical Comments: Practical comments: A DOS program written in the mid-1990's. Software license is associated with purchase of the manual "Understanding Log-Linear Analysis with ILOG: An Interactive Approach". As always, exercise caution when installing on a modern workstation, as the install scripts can misfunction. This is part of the behavioral coding facilities, which we set up only when there is an active user.
