This is to announce the Autumn 2008 round of the Royalty Research Fund (RRF). Proposals are due Monday, September 29, by 5:00 PM. The Office of Research is working towards an electronic proposal submission and review process. While this is a long-term project, we are continuing a major change to the RRF application process that was initiated last round. Briefly, this change requires submission of a PDF version of the proposal (as well as two paper copies). As of this round, we also increased the amount of salary support that may be requested for the PI and/or co-PI(s). With the new application process and rules, it is essential that PIs thoroughly read and follow all instructions. Proposals that do not adhere to the guidelines will be returned to PIs for immediate correction and resubmission if time permits, or otherwise not considered eligible for funding.
