Curriculum Overview
A minimum of 100 quarter credits over 12 quarters (or 36 months, per AACN Essentials) in length of full-time study is required for Post-Baccalaureate DNP study in CHN. Eighteen (18) credits must be taken for a numeric grade.

Communities for Youth assures the health of youth through a responsive community health system Cross Cultural and Global Health promotes the health of multicultural communities and populations. NURS 562 Clinical Applied Anthropology and NURS 579 Transcultural Nursing Practices are required courses for students who choose Cross Cultural and Global Health sub-specialty. Healthy Aging emphasizes the well being during aging regardless of residence and health status Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing (OEHN) promotes the health and prevention of injury among workers, their families, and community members. Rural Health promotes programs and policies for the health of people in rural communities |
