- You will be responsible for your housing arrangements. The director of international
visitors can give you information about contacting the University's Visiting Faculty Housing
Service. The School cannot assume financial responsibility for guaranteeing a reservation.
University-sponsored housing is very limited and therefore is only available for full-time
enrolled students.
- The University requires all exchange visitors to show evidence of insurance to cover
costs of sickness or accident. Separate information will be sent to explain the exact
coverage requirements and give information about insurance policies that may be purchased
in the United States.
- The UW School of Nursing does not provide funding for Visiting Scholars. In order to sponsor
a Visiting Scholar, the School of Nursing must obtain evidence from the applicant of external
funding sufficient to cover expenses. Please review the information on the
International Students and
Scholars pages for current required amounts.
