faculty at several British (Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield,
York), Chinese and European universities through the
UW membership in the Worldwide
University Network. Lastly, our school has contacts in other
nursing schools throughout the world through international alumni
and former visiting scholars.
The UW School of Nursing has a particularly strong and active exchange
relationship with Chiang Mai University in northern Thailand. CMU provides
dormitory space and support for the BSN Thailand Study Abroad Program and
invites a UW faculty visitor and students each summer. Visiting doctoral
students and visiting faculty scholars from CMU Faculty of Nursing come to the
UW each year for visits ranging from three months to a year. The Chiang Mai
University Faculty of Nursing is particularly interested in developing collaborations
among doctoral students at both schools. Please contact
Sarah Ross for further information
about opportunities for UW SoN students through this affiliation.
