With a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and patient care the UW School of Nursing is the No. 3 Nursing School in research funding from the NIH, with six centers of excellence and over 185 active and pending research projects.

| I am a Seattle native, and earned both my BSN and MN from the University of Washington. I am currently a PhD student through a distance program at the University of Arizona. My area of inquiry is pediatric asthma and cognition. I am a 2006 graduate of UW PNP program, and work per diem as a primary care PNP. My favorite part of working with the pediatric community is health education and literacy promotion. I enjoy all aspects of pediatric care, but have a special interest in pulmonary and adolescent care. I have enjoyed serving as a preceptor for PNP students for several years, and am excited to be a part of the PNP faculty at UW. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with my husband and twins. |
