With a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and patient care the UW School of Nursing is the No. 3 Nursing School in research funding from the NIH, with six centers of excellence and over 185 active and pending research projects.

| I am a PhD-prepared neonatal nurse practitioner, who has also practiced as a staff nurse, neonatal clinical specialist, and neonatal research associate. I have developed a model of blended academic and clinical practice. My areas of interest are the promotion of the development of clinical technologies involving nurse content experts, improvement of educational strategies for neonatal APNs and professional NNP-Neonatologist collaboration to promote efficient models of care. |
