Teresa Ward obtained her BSN from Allentown College, MSN from Drexel University, PhD from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Post Doctoral fellowship at the University of Washington.

For several years, Dr. Ward has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a pediatric sleep disorders center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She studies pediatric sleep patterns and sleep disturbances. Dr. Ward’s research is aimed at gaining a better understanding about the extent of disturbed sleep and sleep disordered breathing in children with and without chronic illness, and its association with disease-related symptoms and neurobehavioral cognitive development.
