She works primarily with undergraduate students in the BSN program. Her professional interests include women's health care, high risk maternity care, medical legal/documentation issues and the instruction of physical assessment skills. Marte currently teaches physical assessment, family nursing and maternity nursing. Marte is a women's health care nurse practitioner certified in Adult Primary Care and Women's Health. She works in a private practice in Everett, WA. Marte has professional experience as a perinatal clinical nurse specialist, staff nurse, medical/legal expert witness in malpractice litigation, and as a community and childbirth educator.
