Advancing Nursing Research
With a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and patient care the UW School of Nursing is the No. 3 Nursing School in research funding from the NIH, with six centers of excellence and over 185 active and pending research projects.

| Teaching & Leadership: Anne's teaching focus is currently with undergraduate students in their pediatric experiences, both theoretical learning and clinical application. As the pediatric clinical lead, she is responsible for guiding the pediatric clinical faculty team and ensuring a cohesive pediatric learning experience for students. She is particularly interested in a strengths-based coaching model for student and faculty development. | |
| Practice: Anne has worked in a variety of settings and children's hospitals around the country and internationally, both as a pediatric nurse and as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Some of those practice settings have included acute care (liver transplant), home care, primary care and nursing professional development. It was her work with the interdenominational organization Nurses Christian Fellowship that first helped her find her passion for students and fueled her desire to focus her career on nurturing in the growth and development of nurses. |
