Women's health care is my particular interest within nursing. Currently, I'm primarily involved with nurse practitioner education. I am certified by the National Certification Corporation as a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner.
Some past projects were the use of critical thinking skills in conducting primary care patient visits and editing a series of articles on Women with Addictions that appeared in JOGNN's Clinical Issues series.

I am interested in teaching methods and curriculum development and am actively involved in the new Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.

I review articles submitted for publications to the journal Health Care for Women International.

Please see www.son.washington.edu/departments/fcn/awhcnp/ for more information about the Adult & Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program.
