Teaching: Ms. Christianson teaches health assessment and in the series of clinical courses for nurse practitoner students in the Adult, Older Adult Pathways and Home Care NP. She also has lectured to other groups about geriatric assessment, functional assessment, dementia and delirium. She received the School of Nursing Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award in 1999.

Clinical focus: She is certified as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, and is part of a HMO NP/MD team which manages primary care of skilled and long term care residents in the Seattle area.

Current Projects

• Improving patient outcomes in end-of-life care provided by physicians and nurses (Key Personnel)
