Degree Programs: MEPN - Costs and Financial

For
the five (5) quarter pre-RN licensure portion of the program,
GEPN students take between 13 and 20 credits. Tuition is a flat fee and students will be notified
of exact costs shortly after they apply. Students are eligible to apply for financial aid.
Once
MEPN students complete the first five (5) quarters of the
program they pay the same tuition as regular Master of Nursing
students in the School of Nursing (see below).

While
the University of Washington recently modified its tuition
residency policy, so as to hold students to a stricter level
of scrutiny, it is still committed to actively recruiting
graduate and professional students from throughout the nation
and the world, and to continuing to provide competitive recruitment
packages.
The University offers a number of graduate service appointments
(e.g. Teaching Assistantships, Research Assistantships, Fellowships,
Traineeships). Such appointees (both domestic and international)
receive full tuition waivers as well as health insurance coverage
for themselves and their dependents.
In addition, non-resident domestic students who do not hold
graduate service appointments but who are in their second
or later year of enrollment, may be eligible to qualify for
residency or they may be awarded a non-resident tuition waiver,
thereby allowing them to pay in-state tuition.
