I am a clinical psychologist specializing in gerontology and geriatrics. My research focuses on maximizing functioning and improving quality of life for individuals with dementia. Recent projects involve assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, and agitation by helping family caregivers learn problem solving strategies and identify and implement meaningful activities and pleasant events.
