Question: If I will be doing the same activity throughout several quarters how can I avoid retyping the information on the quarterly summary when I submit the information next quarter?

Answer: Click on the Student Summaries link on the Leadership Portfolio page (some browsers will let you open this as a new window), and select the previous quarterly summary. From the summary, hold down your left mouse button and drag the mouse over the text of your activity. From the menu bar at the top of your browser, select edit, copy. Return to the quarterly summary survey, place the cursor in the activities description box. From the edit menu, select paste. The text you copied from the prior quarter summary should be copied into your survey dialog box. Complete the rest of the summary and submit your updated Leadership Portfolio information.

Question: How can I "back up" to the Leadership Portfolio Directions once I begin the survey?

Answer: We recommend that you open the Leadership Portfolio Directions page in a separate window before starting the Quarterly Summary. This allows you to view the Leadership Direction pages at the time you are completing the survey in another window or you can click back and forth between windows by clicking on the status bar at the bottom of your window.

The Leadership Directions page has many links relevant to completing the quarterly summary. Each link from the Directions page has a link to go back to the Directions. You may also use the "BACK" button in your browser.

 

What to do if the pages do not display properly

The Leadership Portfolio pages may not display properly in older versions of WEB browser software. For the best display possible the following recommended versions are listed below:

Netscape Communicator Version 4.5 or newer Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or newer
