Ellen S. Mitchell, RN, PhD is the principal investigator, the project director and associate professor in the University of Washington School of Nursing. Ellen focuses on data related to hormones, symptoms, and menstrual bleeding.
Nancy F. Woods, RN, PhD is a co-investigator for the study and Dean of the University of Washington School of Nursing. Nancy focuses on data related to stress.
Fred Farin, RN, PhD is a co-investigator and director
of the biomarkers lab in the Center for Environmental Health.
Fred is responsible for the analysis of the buccal cell smears
for the genetic components.
Kathy Smith-Dijulio,
MA, RN, is a research associate and Clinical Assistant
Professor in the School of Nursing. In addition to her responsibilities
for collection of urine specimens and diaries from many of
you, she is also involved in entering your calendar data and
assisting Ellen with other project work.
Pagna Prom, BA
is a research associate who divides her time between
the study and her work as a Program Coordinator for the Occupational
Health Nursing Program. She is responsible for collecting
urine specimens and diaries from many of you. She is also
responsible for this web site.
Helen Krautscheid,
RN, BSN now focuses her time on processing all the diary
pages you gave us and preparing and entering all the questionnaire
info you send us every year.
Heather Taylor,
BS is the lab technician in the biochemistry lab and is
responsible for the quality of all the urine specimens and
their analysis for hormone levels.
Elaine Donovan
is the Program Operations Specialist for the study. She handles
all money transactions and keeps track of our budget. She
also is responsible for keeping track of you, doing reports,
and generally holding the project together.
Eunice Tao, PhD, is the Data
Manager and responsible for all the data reading and analyses
for the study.
