Our Biobehavioral Labs: Biochem Labs

The Biobehavioral Laboratories in the School of Nursing include several fully equipped Biochemical Laboratories for measuring various enzymes, hormones, cytokines and peptides. In place are fume hoods, spectrofluorometer, plate reader, automated chemiluminescense, liquid scintillation counter, two gamma counters, 2 high performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC) systems, refrigerated centrifuge, refrigerators and freezers. One room is designated for isotope work. There is also tension recording equipment available for monitoring gastrointestinal motility.
