Evidence-based practice involves using the best available evidence from on-going research to improve the quality of clinical practice. Many researchers in the School of Nursing are using this approach to improve healthy outcomes for children.
Service is an immutable value in the nursing profession. Faculty, staff and students in the School are involved in innumerable volunteer programs that provide care services to both the local community and the far corners of the world. In addition, the School is linked with many programs aimed at serving the most vulnerable in our society, as are its many alumni.
