Word 2007: Creating a new document

According to the purpose of the new document that you are going to edit, you can create a new blank document or a template.

To create a new document,

  1. In Word 2007, click Microsoft Office Button open on the top-left-hand side > New.
  2. Select a blank document or a template that you need. For choices of the templates, see Installed templates and selections under Microsoft Office Online.
