Moodle Student Training
What is Moodle?
Moodle is the online learning environment at the University of Washington School of Nursing. You might think of Moodle as an online school building with online classrooms. In School of Nursing Moodle courses, students access course materials, communicate with their teacher and classmates in online discussion, collaborate on group projects, submit assignments to their teacher and check their grades.
Using Moodle is easy. Some of the activities in your Moodle class might remind you of things you commonly do online, such as reading blogs, taking surveys or checking email. For example, the steps for posting a message to a discussion forum are similar to writing a message in email. Submitting an assignment is similar to uploading an attachment uploading in email. Taking a quiz is similar to responding to an online survey.
