Contribute
Adobe Contribute enables you to easily create and edit web pages on existing web sites. Whether you're using Contribute to update web pages or to manage the web site, you'll find Contribute a very useful tool for browsing, editing, and publishing content to a web site.
Note: Throughout this site, you can click
to view video tutorials and click
to print out a Word file for reading the instructions.
How do I get a new course web site?
- Fill out the course web site request form.
Note: This is an important step and if it is not done, we will have more difficulty tracking your course status, and your course will not be listed on the SON course page (which is how most students find course websites).
- TIER will provide a key you can use to connect to the web site.
- Edit the site content as appropriate.
- When your course is ready for the students to see, you should inform TIER so we can make sure your course is listed on the SON course page.
How do I connect to an existing web site?
- The content owner of the web site should contact TIER and provide the names and UW NetIDs of the people who need to have permission to edit the web site.
- TIER will provide a key you can use to connect to the web site.
- The approved web editors can then edit the live site content.
