Accreditation and Approval Statements



Nurses:
The University of Washington School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Nurses (California):
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, #07218.

Social Workers and Counselors:
The University of Washington School of Nursing qualifies as a Washington State CE program sponsor for social workers and counselors under WAC246-809-610.

Psychologists:
The University of Washington School of Nursing qualifies as a Washington State CE program sponsor for psychologists under WAC246-924-240(1).

All Other Disciplines:
A certificate of contact hours and clock hours will be awarded for successfully completing a University of Washington School of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education offering. Please check printed brochures or the uwcne.org website for the number of contact hours to be awarded for each offering.

Clock Hours:
The University of Washington School of Nursing is approved as a Washington State clock hour provider by the Washington State Board of Education.
