We have an important announcement regarding this year's admissions process for the GEPN program: starting this year, we will no longer require an interview process. This decision was reached by the BSN Coordinating Committee, after considering the results of previous interview processes and assessing their actual impact on admissions.
What this means is that admissions decisions will now be determined solely by the faculty review of applications. Applicants will not be required to come to campus for the interview in January. The removal of the interview process will also shorten the time it takes for admissions decisions to be made.
Currently, applications are being reviewed to make sure they meet the minimum application requirements. Soon, they will be distributed to the degree/specialty admissions committees for faculty review.
Our tentative date for notification of admissions decisions is late January 2010. We hope to complete the admissions process sooner, in which case we will announce the revised date on this page. You can keep apprised of updates by entering your email address in the form below.

The October 15 deadline has now passed. Our total number of applications broke 200!
Within the next couple of days, applications that were complete and in our office by the deadline will be marked as complete on the Graduate School online application, so keep an eye on your online profile. As stated in the application instructions, all pieces of the application, including transcripts and letters of recommendation, must have arrived by 5:00 p.m. today in order to be considered eligible. Please keep in mind that the high volume of applications we have means that we will not respond to inquiries about individual applications.
Next week, we'll post a general timeline of the admissions process, with an estimate of when you can expect to hear from us about your admissions status.
That's all for now. Congratulations on submitting your GEPN application!
