2009 ABSN Admissions Updates

This page will feature frequent postings with up-to-the-minute information about this year's admissions process. Applicants are encouraged to check here regularly for updates, or you can subscribe at the bottom of this page to receive updates within 24 hours of their addition. Due to the volume of applications we receive, we are not able to respond to phone, e-mail, or in-person inquiries regarding individual applications. The proctored essay has passed, meaning that applicants have now completed all the application requirements for the ABSN program.

The next step is for the applications to be reviewed by the admissions committee. Our tentative date for completion of the review and notification to applicants of admissions status is mid-December. Any changes to the timeline will be posted here. You can stay apprised of updates by entering your email address in the form below.

The October 15 deadline has now passed. Congratulations to everyone who submitted an application for our first year of the ABSN program!

The next step is to attend the proctored essay session. As stated on your application instructions, all applicants must complete the proctored essay in order to be eligible for admission. Unless you have already given us the name and contact information for your proctor, you must attend the in-person session in Hogness Auditorium on Tuesday, October 20 at 6:00 p.m. Remember to bring your photo ID!
