MN Admissions Qualifications

Minimum Requirements for Application to the MN Program

• a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the last 90 graded quarter credits
• one of the following:
  • a baccalaureate nursing degree from a nationally-accredited university
  • an associate degree or diploma from a nationally-accredited RN program, and a baccalaureate degree in a non-nursing field
• an active, unrestricted U.S. RN license at the time of application. If you do not have an active, unrestricted Washington State license, you must obtain one prior to beginning the Master of Nursing program.
• completion of an approved 3 quarter credit basic course in descriptive and inferential statistics with a grade of at least 2.0
• meeting Essential Behaviors for graduate students
• if applicable, adequate TOEFL/TSE scores

3. resume
4. three (3) letters of recommendation
5. responses to admissions questions
6. completed Conviction/Criminal History and Authorization for Repeat Background Checks and Dissemination of Results Form.
7. official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended
8. copies of English competency scores (if applicable)
9. BSN equivalency essays (if applicable)
