UWMC-Harborview Medical Center Nursing Student Loan Program
A BSN student agrees to work as a Registered Nurse at UWMC or HMC upon graduation from the UW School
of Nursing in exchange for resident tuition while a student. For every year of resident tuition paid for
by the Medical Center, the student agrees to work one year as an RN at that Medical Center. The student
also agrees to work (for pay) at the Medical Center for 32 hours each month while in School. Students
selected upon entry to the School of Nursing work at the Medical Center during the summer between their
junior and senior years as well. All BSN students are encouraged to apply!
