- minimum college-level cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
- completion of 90 quarter credits of prerequisite courses,
including:
- completion of at least 3 of the Natural World required courses with a minimum
GPA of 3.0 (or 4 completed courses with 2.8 GPA); these include: Chemistry series,
Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Nutrition
- minimum grade of 2.0 in ALL prerequisite courses
- minimum 100 hours volunteer or paid healthcare experience in one setting within a period
of 3 months
- meeting Essential Behaviors for undergraduate students
- if applicable, proof of English language proficiency:
Application materials for Autumn 2010 admission are now available. Download the
BSN Application Instructions, which
includes links to a prerequisite worksheet, with instructions for GPA calculation,
and all instructions and forms you will need to submit as part of your BSN application packet.
Your School of Nursing packet will consist of the following:
- Optional applicant data form
- BSN application
- completed Conviction/Criminal History and Authorization
for Repeat Background Checks and Dissemination of Results Form.
- Personal statement
- one (1) letter of recommendation. Please download this
required recommendation form.
- resume
- transcripts (official or unofficial) from all post-secondary schools attended
If you are not currently a University of Washington student, you will also need to complete
the UW Undergraduate Application.
