CHIANG MAI, THAILAND—Dean Nancy Fugate Woods received an honorary doctoral degree in nursing from Chiang Mai University, presented by the Crown Princess of Thailand in a traditional Thai ceremony. The UW School of Nursing and the Chiang Mai University nursing school have been partners in student and faculty exchange programs since 1994, and Chiang Mai has hosted the UW’s nursing students for the Thailand study abroad program since 2003.
