Epidemiologist and activist Dr. Nancy Krieger, known for her research linking racial discrimination to high blood pressure in African-Americans, contends factors such as race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic class and sexual orietnation are critical in determining "the state of the public's health.".

This lecture is moderated by Dr. Bobbie Berkowitz, professor of nursing and chair of the Dept. of Psychosocial and Community Health.

The lecture and reception are free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Call or email to reserve space by April 22.
