Dr. Margaret Heitkemper, chair of the Department of Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Systems and director of the Center for Women's Health Research, was a featured speaker at the first conference on women's health in Seoul, Korea. The wife of the President of South Korea and the Minister of Health were both in attendance at the conference. - December, 1999
Dr. Susan L. Woods, associate dean for academic programs, has just published with two other co-authors the fourth edition of her classic text, Cardiac Nursing.
